Case FarmAll 75C Farming Hay In the Field

First Time Baling Hay – Lessons Learned – Case 75C – NH BR740 – Krone AM R 280 – Super Hayliner 68

I managed to harvest my hay for the first time, hooray! I learned a lot and thought I would share it with you since most videos on baling are by long time farmers who know what they are doing. I did not know what I was doing and had to learn everything by reading, trial and error, and through some YouTube watching 🙂

All of my equipment performed well and I managed to get 100 small square bales in the barn, and 28 large round bales. I still have a 5 acre field to cut, but we should have just enough hay to support our cows, horses, and goats through the winter now…and I should have two more cuttings.

If you are new to farming, or are jumping into baling your own hay, you can learn something from this video. If you are an expert, you can laugh and share your wisdom in the comments!

I plan to get more action shots in during my second cut. driftlessinwi

Case FarmAll 75C Fabricating Fun Prototyping

Modifying a Case FarmAll 75C to Use Skid Steer Attachments

I really want to use my skid steer attachments on the back of my Case FarmAll 75C utility tractor. I have had this desire to give my tractor a skidsteer mullet (tractor up front, skid steer in the back) ever since I bought it, in particular I really really want to use my 4 in 1 bucket on the tractor. The 4 in 1 bucket is a perfect attachment for the back of the tractor.

The limited range of motion of a 3-point hitch make the 4 in 1 a good fit because it can pick up loads and dump them without needing to fully tilt forward. In addition, the bucket will act as ballast, a carry all, dozer blade, box blade, post puller, tree puller and more.

This modification wasn’t as easy as I had hoped and I still need to make some tweaks. The 3 pt to universal quick tach adapter has some limitations and needs a good range of motion on your hydraulic top link. I had to fabricate an extension to the adapter to help tilt the hitch more towards the back. This is part 1 of a two-part series on upgrading my 75C to handle skid steer attachments.

Case FarmAll 75C Farming Initial Impressions Machine Reviews

2020 Case FarmAll 75C Review – Initial Impressions – Full Test Drive and Walkthrough

If your head is spinning looking for a good Compact Utility, or Utility, tractor take a look at this video to get some insight on the thought and buying process I went through, and why I ended up settling on the Case 75C, which is a step above the compact utility class. I never looked in the Utility tractor class because I thought they would be more expensive. I found quite the opposite, beefier frames, more horsepower, and way more standard features for the same price.

I will be doing long term reviews on this machine, and will also be putting out more videos on the equipment buying process, so be sure to subscribe on YouTube to get the latest videos. Thanks!
